Professional Background and Business Overview

I graduated from the Nursing Department of a Vocational High School in 2003. In addition to my nursing qualification, I hold diplomas in Health Management and Pathology Laboratory Techniques, as well as various vocational and professional certificates. I completed my nursing training in 2004 and have worked continuously in the healthcare sector since then.

Throughout my professional career in Turkey, I gained extensive practical experience as a nurse and worked successfully in different departments of an education and research hospital. This experience enabled me to develop strong clinical knowledge, practical nursing skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients, particularly older people and individuals requiring long-term care and support.

Since moving to the UK, I have continued to develop my professional experience within the healthcare sector. In 2021, I established my own Limited company in the UK and have been working as a Healthcare Assistant since then. Through my work in the UK, I have gained valuable experience in providing person-centred care and supporting individuals with their daily living needs, health requirements, mobility, personal care, and overall wellbeing.

My professional background in both nursing and healthcare support has given me a strong understanding of the importance of providing safe, respectful, compassionate, and reliable care. I am now seeking to build on this experience by expanding my activities within the UK care sector and establishing a professional home care service.

My proposed business will provide high-quality home care, personal support, and companionship services to elderly people and other individuals who require assistance in their own homes. The service will focus on helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life while allowing them to remain in familiar surroundings for as long as possible.

I intend to provide services to elderly individuals and their families, including people living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, as well as individuals who require additional support following surgery or during periods of recovery. My nursing background and extensive healthcare experience will allow me to understand individual care needs and provide a compassionate and personalised approach.

I believe that my academic qualifications, professional nursing background, UK healthcare experience, and more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare sector give me a strong competitive advantage. Having worked both as a nurse and as a Healthcare Assistant, I have developed a combination of clinical knowledge and practical experience that enables me to understand the needs of clients from both a professional and personal perspective.

My aim is to provide dependable, flexible, and person-centred care based on the individual needs and preferences of each client. I will strive to support my clients in maintaining their independence and living safe, comfortable, happy, and fulfilling lives in their own homes.

The services will be tailored to each individual's circumstances and may include assistance with personal care, daily activities, companionship, mobility, medication support where appropriate and within the relevant regulatory framework, and general wellbeing. I will also provide support to families who require reliable and experienced care assistance for their elderly relatives.

I will draw upon my previous nursing experience, my UK healthcare experience, and my knowledge of home care and patient support to provide a professional and compassionate service. My experience with elderly patients and individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia has also helped me develop a patient, understanding, and empathetic approach to care.

My long-term objective is to establish a trusted healthcare and home care business in the UK that is recognised for its professionalism, reliability, compassion, and high standards of client care. By combining my nursing qualifications, extensive healthcare experience, and knowledge gained from working in the UK healthcare sector since 2021, I aim to provide a valuable and personalised service to elderly and vulnerable individuals who wish to remain independent in their own homes.
